Qi Gong
Chi Kung, a ancient art
The heart is quiet, the mind is focused ; intention and breath can merge…
The history of Chi Kung is as old as China itself. Chi Kung is believed to be over 5000 years old and is part and parcel of traditional Chinese medicine.
Chi means “subtle energy” and Kung means “developing something”. Chi Kung is generally translated by “controlling one’s vital energy”.

Once set in a quiet and peaceful mode, having taken the right posture, Chi Kung will enable you to link up mind and breath. Through Chi Kung, one can truly become aware of the “inner breath”, one’s own vital force which can then be used and developed to a tremendous level.
Because they are all-encompassing, Chi Kung exercises will have knock-on effects on the entire person. Whatever the age, professional activity, condition or vitality, long-term effects will be felt. Each movement, each posture aims at opening up the body to universal energies. All it takes is to… let go… and open up to the energy from the earth and the sky. Then, let nature drive its way deeply into the organism.
The primary objective of Chi Kung is to reach bodily and spiritual harmony, hence a better health. Achieving spiritual progress can also be possible thanks to regular meditation.
